Destined For The Top

23 03 2010

Aim: To let you know that getting to the top is not your desire but your destiny as a believer.

–         Until you start moving, you can’t reach your destination.

Psalm 37:23; Deut 28:13

–         To let you know that as a child of God, you are not created to be stagnated. Psalm 112:1-2.

Vision: Is the ability to comprehend what God has planned for your life. It is what you see that will inspire and motivate you, therefore, you must have a target, without a goal, you are not fit for living. Hosea 4:6.

Faith: When you see well you get well inspired by faith to go forward. Whatsoever you are doing, do it with expectation (Heb 11:6) Faith is the eye that can see invisible things. Until you believe the vision given to you by God you can’t get to your destination.

Wisdom: Is the productive use of the mind. The correct application of God’s word defines wisdom. You can’t do away with wisdom and make it in life; it is only the wisdom of God that can take you to your destination. Prov 24:14.

Diligence: Is a steady effort, hard work and care or concern for what you are doing (learning, schooling, farming, etc) Prov 22:29, Deut 28:1. The journey for the top has no room for laziness.

Discipline: Is the ability to refuse evil, pleasure of sin and restrain self to achieve a set goal of excellence. 1 Cor 9:25-27, Prov 20:13, Prov 10:5.

Memory Verse: Prov 22:29 “Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men.
