Access to the supernatural

14 02 2011

In our Bible word of God series today, we’ll be talking about gaining access to the supernatural.  As believers, the supernatural is not a weird state but a level where you can access God more in your day to day rapport with Him. So how do you access the supernatural?

1.      New Birth – Jn 3:8. “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you don’t know where the wind comes from or where it’s going. That’s the way it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

New birth transforms us from the natural world of the flesh to the spiritual which makes us a commander in all situations of life. This is the beginning of a divine walk with God. Whenever you confess and renounce sin, you become a heavenly being on. You become like the wind. No man can tell what you are up to but they can’t deny the success and progress that you accomplish.

2.      Through your love for God– 1 Cor 2:9 “But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” The eyes of men have not seen the supernatural, they’ve not heart about the things of the spirit neither has it entered their heart because God will only reveal such to those who love Him.

3.      Have faith in God – This is a vital force for provoking the supernatural. You cannot believe someone you don’t trust or have faith in. Therefore, to walk and access the supernatural, you must first believe who God says he is – Heb 11:6. Though you cannot see God face to face, you have faith in the unseen (God) – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”

4.      Maintain Constant fellowship with God & True brethren – Your fellowship with God will always take you to a level no ordinary man can. Constant fellowship with the Holy Spirit is what triggers the supernatural. You start speaking the unspeakable, seeing the unseen and thinking the unthinkable. Your fellowship also with your fellow brethren can either take you closer to the supernatural or destroy you completely. Saul prophesied because He was in the company of prophets.
